Dutch Bucket

A Dutch bucket of coopered construction with a moulded body, probably in walnut and holly. The brass liner is a replacement. These buckets or 'teestoof' were originally used for keeping tea kettles warm over a bed of smouldering charcoal - the original liner being half the depth of the bucket.
